Clear SFVI™ (Smart Filter Volume Imaging™) is an optimization tool for 3D imaging. This feature removes unwanted noise, resulting in a clearer image. Activating Clear SFVI™ gives you a premium quality 3D image in seconds.

Detailed SFVI™ (Smart Filter Volume Imaging™) allows for sharp border definition on a 3D image. The activation of this single function reduces the need to manipulate multiple modes. Operators will appreciate the immediate clarity obtained through Detailed SFVI™.

Samsung Medison’s SFVI™ is single touch-activated, resulting in the removal of unwanted artifacts created by amniotic fluid and surrounding structures. FAD™ is an innovative 3D technology that removes unwanted volume data that can obscure details of the fetal face. When activated, the FAD™ 3D post-processing algorithm removes the unwanted information between the transducer and the fetal face.


Optimized fetal face images can be hard to obtain because of neighboring obstacles like hands. Samsung Medison’s FAD™ (Face Auto Detection) can remove these unwanted structures with one-touch operation, and increase the diagnostic value of the image.

Smooth Cut™ erases any object that hides the desired 3D image. This simple, user-controlled feature quickly eliminates a specific target within the volume, while the erased information can easily be recovered by reversing the action.
